PROJECT PARTICIPANTS
Sunshine Arizona Wind Energy, LLC, the developer of Sunshine
Wind Park, is a partnership of local, Northern Arizona investors
and Foresight Wind Energy, LLC. , Foresight Wind Energy is at
the forefront of wind development in the Southwest, with over
2,000 megawatts of projects in process.
Foresight has worked with Northern Arizona University for archeological, historical/cultural
and other assessments; NAU Ecological Monitoring and Assessment Program and
U.S. Geological Survey Colorado Plateau Research Station for baseline avian
studies; SWCA Environmental Consultants for biological evaluation; Western
EcoSystems Technology Inc. (WEST), for avian related evaluation; NetGenuity,
Inc., for community relations and public participation initiatives; and the
Law Offices of William Ring for assistance with permitting.
Arizona Public Service (APS) is anticipated to be the power purchaser. All covenants
made by Foresight Energy Company and Sunshine Arizona Wind Energy LLC will
be transferred to and maintained by the owner/operator.
